Cheats

Here you can get some cheats for the game. Any I have not listed you can e-mail me at saladbar821@mac.com. This contains spoilers so continue with caution.

• Homing Jump:
  • First jump, spin, and press Z after you spin to target on near objects
• Coconuts to Watermelons
  • Collect a total of 9999 star bits to have all the coconuts in the game become watermelons.
• Second character:
  • After collecting all 120 stars with mario, fight the final bowser again. You will unlock Luigi as a playable character.
• Secret Galaxy and the 121st star
  • Collect all 120 stars with Luigi, refight the final bowser. On the Planet of Trials there will be a fourth luma opposite the return pipe. Talk to it and go to the Grand Finale Galaxy. It can be accessed by both mario and luigi.
• Lost Lives Count:
  • After getting the 121st star, there will be a number visible on your save file. It shows how may lives you have lost during the game. It is underneath the date.

• Cosmic Boost

  • When racing cosmic Mario, hold forward, as the countdown hits 2, hold Z to crouch, when the race starts, press A to turn yellow and get a boost.
